Cranberry-Blueberry SmoothieFiled under: Uncategorized;
If you like tart flavors, this is the smoothie for you !
6 ounces frozen cranberry ( don’t thaw )
1/3 cup frozen cranberry juice concentrate
2 tablespoons honey
1-1/3 cups plain low-fat yogurt
2/3 cups frozen blueberries ( don’t thaw )
4 ice cubes
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, cranberry juice concentrate, and honey. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook 10 to 12 minutes or until cranberries have popped and sauce is thick. Let cool to room temperature.
Mix with the rest of the ingredients in a blender, and then process until smooth.
Yield : 2 servings
